Parts Coverage . . .
- One (1)
year from start-up date but no more than 18 months from ship
date, Kolpak will replace all defective parts or assemblies
(including doors and door assemblies). First year
compressor failures are to be exchanged at local wholesale
supply stores.
- Optional four
(4) year warranty. After the expiration of the one (1)
year parts warranty, Kolpak will replace, for the following
four (4) years, the compressor of the condensing unit
assembly.
- Foamed-in place panels are warranted to be free from
defects in material and workmanship under normal use and
service for a period of ten (10) years from the date of
original installation. Painted surfaces shall be
warranted eighteen months from date of installation.
- Following the expiration of the basis parts
warranty, replacement parts purchased from Kolpak shall be
warranted for a period of ninety days from installation
date.
Labor Coverage . .
. - One
(1) year from original start up, Kolpak will pay the labor
to repair or replace defective parts or assemblies.
This warranty covers walk in panels and parts, and
pre-charged refrigeration systems. Non pre-charged
refrigeration systems are covered by a thirty day labor
warranty for replacement of parts only.
- Kolpak reserves the right to pay maximum hourly rate equal
to the average commercial hourly rates within the territory
or region of the country.
- This warranty is issued to the original purchaser-user and
is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied.
Exclusions Of Warranty
Coverage . . . 1. Normal
maintenance, adjustments and cleaning.
2. Repairs due to unauthorized modifications of
warranted equipment.
3. Damage from improper installation, improper
electrical supply, fire, floods or other acts of God.
4. Damage or delays occurring in transit.
5. Parts of assemblies subject to misuse, abuse,
neglect or accidents.
6. Damage or loss of any products, property, loss of
income or profit due to malfunctioning of sold unit.
7. Floor panels are not warranted under the following
conditions.
a) Floor panels which are
cleaned by wet mopping or use of a water hose.
b) Use of dollies, carts,
pallet jacks, etc., on non-reinforced floors.
c) Evenly distributed load
weights in excess of 700 pounds per square foot.
Receiving Inspection . . . Upon receipt of
equipment, the shipment should be checked carefully against
the bill of lading. Receipt should not be signed until
all items listed on the bill of lading have been accounted
for. Inspect carefully for visible damage or signs of
concealed damage. All packing material must be saved,
if there is damage.
Restocking Policy .
. .
Standard orders which
are cancelled or changed by our customer after they have
been released to production will be subject to a 25% minimum
restocking fee based up the total cost of the product less
freight, taxes, etc.
Special (nonstandard) orders which are cancelled, once
released to production will be subject to the total invoice
amount less freight, taxes, etc. Change orders which
may be issued against special orders will be charged the
total amount necessary to accommodate the change.
